TP has failed to tell you that he inherited a farm in Iowa, and grabs every federal dollar in subsidies that he can get his hands on.
I think it is only accurate to point out that I bought the farm in Iowa. It has never previously been owned by a relative although my relatives knew the owner. The previous owner made poor decisions about the size and technique of hog farming and so could not pay bank loans. I bought approximately 1/3 of his farmland so he could satisfy his debts. The farm was bought with stock profits thtat I realized during the Clinton administration.

If you care to know I inherited exactly one aluminum bowl which used to hold candy that I desired as a kid, a library table which now holds a computer, a lefsa grill, a hardunger grill (which is useless without the special rolling pin my sister got, although we have been able to make latkes on it), a chest which was carried in the ship which carried my ancestors, and a box of dishes which I don't particularly remember as important. The rest went to other relatives.

I do however take every single federal farm subsidiary that I can, along with my deduction for paying interest on my house, and deductions for any child or medical care we can qualify forl. I was layed off and took care of the kids during the summer. Did I tell you about the drive with my children to Yellowstone and we saw the grizzly bear who decided to leave the mud pot it was in to walk across the path we were on less than a dozen yards away? It is a facianating tale.

I'm sorry if I don't always play well the part of a rich man just becuase I worked myself into millionare status. The fact is I have seen both sides of the fence and have met the people on both sides of the fence, and I know the difference in opinion that comes from a guarenteed income versus an income for performance (versus an income for showing up).

While haqi tries to raise his distain, or more likely his jealousy i just want to remind everyone, we get the scale of government that we pay for. I personally do not want to live in a second rate neighborhood. Some fools think they are going to get first rate government services with secongs rate financing. Take it from someone who's been terek it ain't goin' to happen.

Thanks Haqi. I've already lost interest in him.
