Well that's a different concept. The question is would he have done it there was a single Arab ruled state there... Maybe, maybe not. That is one of the issues. The other is the oil and the US efforts to safeguard its flow as US becomes more and more dependent on foreign oil (and Bush's energy policy will do nothing to stop it). Thus their blockade of Iraq, support for Turkey (Islamic NATO member) etc. Remember this guy has a big grudge against Saudi Arabia who threw him out and took away his citizenship. Now if the oil was somewhere else and Israel didn't exist, no he wouldn't have done it.
