E, They are motivated by hatred for those that have something they think they don't have, and they use religion as the reason. Regardless of what they may say, if they violate the precepts of their chosen religion consistently, they are not religious. They may think they are, say they are, and even believe they are, but their actions belie any religious base. You do not seem to believe in any religion, and it may be hard for you to understand one who is truly religious. A "for instance" is that true Christians are pained, and ashamed of those who bomb abortion clinics in the name of Jesus. If those that do the bombing think they are followers of Jesus, they are sadly mistaken.
