To the extent that what you imply is true, it is a Canadian tragedy indeed. I've met a few Canadians and most of them are just like Americans in dreams and deed. They don't have the freedoms we do, it's true. Canadians are hard pressed to fund their common defense because they are too busy paying for socialized medicine and other such that you people promote. Their Air Force Aerobatic Squadron, The Snowbirds, perform here almost every year. They put on a fine show, but their jets are tiny little trainers, not combat aircraft like ours. I spoke with one of the pilots and took a look at his plane. The tires were so worn out the steel belts were exposed all the way around. I couldn't believe it and I feared for his safety.
