I also agree as to the increased risk to hold tankers, but with risk goes the possibility of getting shares at discount to the risk. Perhaps a hedging of the risk is the best policy for now; if one has the fortitude and opportunity to buy/sell the instruments to do that. I really do not entertain an entry in those. Like a few on the thread, if I purchase, I go long and do not short securities.
