One must realize that what happened on Tuesday was the largest trauma suffered by the American people on our own soil since our own Civil War 140 years earlier... what Laden wants is not relevant, it's only coincidental to our reply to him... Pearl Harbor was an attack on our military, not on our civilians, not inside our national boarders, and not with our own aircraft with hundreds of civilians taken along for the ride... what happened on Tuesday is far worse than Pearl Harbor... Japan used their own planes and attacked military targets, while these terrorists attacked thousands of civilians and used our own commercial aircraft to do it... there is no difference between this and an unprovoked surprise military bombing run over New York City... I think many people outside the US have no clue as to the resolve and will of the American people once we are at last stirred into action, the fear of another Vietnam nightmare is no longer an issue, we have finally outgrown that concern... I think our military leaders and planners already understand this, I believe we'll move massive ground troops into Afghanistan and destroy the terrorist training camps... but before any ground troops go anywhere, those camps will be blown away... Pakistan will comply if they know what's good for them and they already said they will, they don't want us to turn their country into a parking lot..... I agree Laden is another Hitler type and the Taliban faction are more Nazi types, and I believe you are right about the suffering of the citizens there, this only makes our call to arms even more urgent... the US is the only country in the world that can do this, if we don't who will? Who can? We have the technology, the capability, and the fortitude to do anything we want once we are at last stirred into action, the rest of the world must make no mistake on this... I believe our plan will be to take them out and eradicate them from the face of the Earth, Ladin's groups are now in 36 different countries and we will smoke all of them out like rabbits..... Yes, it will cost lives, but one must understand when a cause is great enough, risking one's life takes on a different meaning... look at the three guys on one of those hijacked planes, they rushed the terrorists and risked their own lives along with everyone on that plane to avoid hitting the White House... is one building worth more than any single human life? Of course not, but this particular building represents all we stand for and those guys knew it, all of us do... those three guys are genuine American heroes and should be awarded the Presidential National Service Medal for their remarkable bravery in the face of the enemy... I'm certainly extremely proud of them and I only wish I would have the courage to do the same if called upon..... Best Regards, GZ
