I followed up on the advice CB gave me and am reading "To kill a mocking bird" - prefer the book to the film -. I realize it depends on whome you are] to the event, even though not direct [your parents? An uncle? Involved on either side?? Deep guilt??] gives you a special 'experience' that I shall never have. Although much differnt from those directly involved may be quite powerful depending on your family, etc. What I'm saying is you can have all the documentation you want [no slap to Spielberg... his cause is noble] but future generations won't have THAT experience... and hence 'history rymes'... I just found your post enlightened. DAK
