Okay, now I understand a little better. However, have the studies been done as far as establishing a health risk, or is this just a reactionary news rag?

As far as our leaving the shell casings, what else would they have done with them? I never heard of any army "policing the area" after they leave, they're always leaving thier "trash" behind. tanks, bullets, old mines, unexploded bombs, I'm not trying to be an apologist, but I don't think this whole thing is just as simple as.... "oh man, those shell casings are bad news, and we delibertly left them there, to make everyone sick blah blah blah" Why aren't the iraqi's cleaning them up? are they in areas that actually pose a threat or are they out in the isolated desert somewhere? I am not making excuses, but sometimes/many times? these anti american groups take things that have some truth to them, and twist things around so that if a person doesn't look a little deeper, they jump to all the wrong conclusions.
