This came to me in an email:

My dearest friend in the world is Lyz Glick. It was
>her husband, Jeremy, who rushed the hijackers to
>prevent further loss of life. As I am sure most of
>you have read by now, Jeremy called Lyz from the
>plane. In a fifteen minute conversation, they told
>each other how much they loved one another. Jeremy
>told her to do what ever she needed to do for her and
>their 13 week old baby to be happy. He told Lyz
>important details about the hijackers and asked her
>what to do. She said she supports his decision to do
>what ever he thought was necessary. He held a vote
>among the passengers and Jeremy and two other men
>decided to ambush the hijackers. Jeremy knew he would
>die either way, but wanted to prevent further loss of
>life. He asked Lyz to stay on the line while they
>went ahead with their plan. She handed the phone to
>her father, who heard screams, then silence, then
>screams, then silence.
>
>I don't know how we will all recover from this
>tragedy. Jeremy was one of the most amazing people I
>ever knew, so it comes as no suprise that he would do
>what he did. Everyone who met him understood how
>magical he was. His baby girl, Emmy, will never know
>her daddy, but she will know that he died a hero.
>
>Lyz and Jeremy's family told their story to Dateline,
>which will air Friday night. Please watch, so you know
>what an amazing person Jeremy truly was.

Robert-
You imply that there was an almost impossible plan by thousands of individuals and companies to assist Islamic extremists (who hate our guts) in the bombing of the World Trade Center, despite all evidence to the contrary. This complex and difficult plan would also have to be covered up by all of our news services, and foreign news services stationed in the U.S.. It's like you look for plots and subplots without consideration to reality. But, you won't even come out and directly say that you are accusing America of assisting in the horrible, inhuman attack. With the bodies of many Americans buried under the rubble of the World Trade Center, I could never carelessly make cruel accusations towards Americans, as you have done.

Robert that is not what I am saying. I am saying we bring much of this on ourselves by our foreign policy but act shocked when it comes back to us this way because most Americans are actually unaware of what their government officials are doing to create so much antipathy and perhaps would not approve with funding if they were accurately informed. Being well informed, knowing the risks, and approving some of our foreign adventures the public would be accepting the risks that are now apparent all to well to them.
