Hi Dale, I believe you understood my comments about a foreign adventure to be my own personal views of the matter. I'll assure you that I'm trying to keep an open mind here and that I merely sent that speculation out as a trial balloon. As always, the truth of what is going on will be clouded by the "fog of war", official state secrecy and the already obvious clandestine nature of the sects who we are in opposition to. One of the fascinating things about my reading of the "Tournament of Shadows" is that some salient pieces of correspondence among the key players of the day, and thus the keys to a thorough understanding of the Great Game have only come to light a century after their creation. The history of the chase to eradicate the WTC bomber sect will be shrouded for a very long time ahead. You are way out of date indulging notions like that. Somehow, I find the lessons of Machiavelli on statecraft, and an even more ancient writer, Sun Tzu on War to be both dated and exceptionally current. Plus ca change, la plus la meme chose, n'est pas?
