Those 2 posts really capture what this is about. Both
the article on the real conditions in Afganistan and who
these Taliban people are and what conditions they impose
on their citizens in the name of holiness (an old song)
while breaking those laws themselves by sending their
daughters to english school and smoking (more old tunes),
and the excellent post on what retaliation really means and
how it plays into bin laden's hand.

I plan to do my part. I'm very serious. I will be
continuing to invest my capitalist support in companies
I freely choose and believe in from as much information
as the rule of law dictates and my own opportunities allow.

My response is to continue to pursue wealth and my own
happiness in the classical economic sense without fear
of being in the wrong place at the wrong time whether
that is as one of the 50,000 a year that die on American
highways or that die from acts of senseless violence
done for $5 or the sheer sport of it.

I already run those risks living in a metropolitan area
and now I face the realization that this new threat will
probably increase in the future and will add another
small layer of daily risk while it also interferes with
the inconvenience I face when I'm travelling around.

I'm not interested in the motives of murderers; and evil
when you look at it for a while always becomes banal.

"We blow stuff up because we're really angry and since
we can't get our own sh*t together we're taking it out
on you."

This is supposed to inspire fear? This is new?

Our prisons are full of every coloured trash who live
this creed except they only kill one or two at a time.

We have been hurt. We have mourned. We are cleaning up.

When you're driving next time think about the person who
dies every 13 minutes on the road and realize your already
a seasoned soldier and that this is a risk you're already
willing to take just for the freedom to drive a car.

So,

I will not let these dysfunctional thugs change my life.

I'm watching half a dozen stocks on Monday. If the market
makes a big mistake, I'm taking advantage of it.

That is what we're fighting for. Economic freedom.
This IS the battlefield as those cowards knew when
they chose their targets and timing.

I think Dimethaid is answering some questions and the
majority of the countries have approved. And I'm betting
a deal is already done.

When we pass through that even if we don't get every single
country, then the first big foundation to future payoff
becomes real.

The average S&P company is still valued around 37 times
earnings according to the Globe&Mail.

Near term economic results are projected to worsen before
improving.

I'm shorting Ballard on the open.

Enough press time for the insane I am fighting as JFK said
'with vigor' and while I will buy some GE or JNJ or IBM
if it gets too bad to add some support, for me the
battlefield is largly Dimethaid and making money supporting
that effort to bring that benefit to society while rewarding
me.

Just like Adam Smith said.

Good luck everybody,

Wolf
