By the way, do you know when we lost the Vietnam War? As soon as Johnson said publicly that we would never invade North Vietnam. We lost, in the sense of having to put up with an interminable DMZ, Korea as soon as Truman made clear that the Chinese troops aiding the North Koreans had safe having across the Yalu. We must convince the enemy not only of our resolve, but leave them guessing how far we are willing to go. We can obviously beat them with our weapons and personnel. It is a matter of gauging will.......
