y should the terrorists and the nations that support them change now that they have done what they have been seeking to do? they were supported before; now, they have had a big success; y should the supporters stop supporting them, now? y did they support them before?

NewVision: If someone brutally rapped and murdered your mother, would choose for the authorities to not prosecute and punish the perpetrator, but instead sit down to reason the why with him? I agree we as Americans should demand a thorough investigation into to the whys, but this should not interfere with our prosecution to punish those that murdered (and those that gave support to those that murdered) our grandfathers, grandmothers, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, children and friends.
