September 16 - Things haven't been changing as quickly as they were for a while, but CompUSA had an ad this week, so it seemed worth doing the list - it also represents a little bit of a return to normalcy. b=Best Buy c=Circuit City u=CompUSA o=Office Depot Note that some details (flat screen monitor, amount of memory, better printer, etc) means the relative value of these systems is not completely reflected in the prices listed below. There are now so many free offers, etc. that I've stopped trying to equalize for them. These are the advertised prices after rebates (I still exclude any rebate that requires signing up for AOL or Compuserve since that would add to the system cost).
