btw, you still haven't answered whether you would be happy leaving your home so a native american could take it over with all your neighbors' approval. hey, but the native american is being nice and will let you picnic on a piece of what was your front front yard. see how willing they are to negotiate?

Of course I wouldn't be happy, just as my grandfather wasn't happy when he was driven out of Riga. However, he had the fortune to come to America instead of being held in refugee camps by his "friends" as a political pawn, and so he built a new life for himself. As did millions of others.

The Palestinians refugees fled because of the WAR. If there had been no war, they would still be there. As the Israeli Arabs -- 20% of the population -- are still there.

Skeets, I am not saying the Israelis are innocent of everything and I am sure that the Israelis have sometimes shot at and killed non-belligerents and non-violent protesters. The Israelis are also to blame for trying to have their cake and eat it too with the settlements.

But I am also sure that the PA, in league with Hamas and Islamic jihad, have been waging a guerilla war against Israel and the occupation. This war has two fronts: on the ground and in world opinion.

In the world opinion front, the main weapon is pictures of dead kids, so the Palestinians have been very willing to take large numbers of casualties, while trying to control the pictures that come out -- take pictures of the kids with rocks, not the gunmen with grenades. Just as they are stopping the pictures of the pro bin Laden rallies right now.

I don't have knowledge of one particular incident or another. But did you notice that the electronicintifada noted who of the Israelis "terrorists" had been brought to court and sentenced, and who had not? Let me just ask you, do you think the PA has brought a single Palestinian terrorist to court in the last year? A: Of course not, they're "heroes".

BTW, did you read the ben-Ami interview? Do you think that Arafat began this intifada for the last 2% of the West Bank that wasn't already offered to him?

the jews should not suffer deaths equal to the palestinians. the jews should not suffer murders. there is no equivalency. the palestinians will not let the jews live in peace. therefore, the israelis should quickly and with the least loss of jewish life and a minimization of loss of palestinian life cause the palestinians to be moved from israel and the west bank. too much time, effort and blood has been spent on a false hope that the palestinians would live in peace with the jews. granted, arabs may still cause israelis problems even if israel expands to the jordan river.if so, that problem will have to be dealt with. perhaps the u.s. will deal with it now, anyway. might does not make right. but, the jews must play their strong card or continue to be killed. the u.s. may be faced with a similar problem on a much bigger scale. the u.s. will feel guilty killing so many. the obtaining of oilfields will not compensate for that guilt. but, surviving and avoiding terror might ameliorate the pain. if the Moslems knew that israel and the u.s. would take these steps, they might some how find a way to end actions of crazy terrorists to save themselves.

Skeeter, could you post a comparison of the number of Israelis vs Palestinians who have tried to blow each other up via car bombs, suicide bombs, etc.
