First, I am not interested in being sensitive to most of these regimes. It is misplaced. In fact, we spend too much time doing it, as it is. Their sensibilities will matter to me when they stop gassing or torturing their own people. Otherwise, it is purely a practical matter.

Second, it is our business when we are deeply implicated in supporting these regimes, or when scruples about "self- determination" are invoked to limit our ability to defend ourselves.......
