willcousa, The linchpin problem is fanaticism tied to large cash inflows from working the drug trade as they do....We need to break that up. The embassy bombings in 1999, the US Cole bombing in 2000 apparently did not impact people sufficiently to initiate that. The current acts were so savage, so heinous that thank God that they woke everyone up worldwide to get active to break down this unholy alliance.... The fallout of winners and losers is already accelerating and we might want to focus on that in our discussions too.... I see some major winners and major losers shaping up and that includes certain energy industry participants.... Finally after reviewing the evidence to date on Nairobi/ Tanzania/US Cole and Pentagon/WTC, I am not so sure that the Taliban itself has not been actively and directly involved in this bombing campaign for the last three years too....Time-and evidence- will tell....
