Taliban was created by the ISI. Maybe the plan all along was to get at this point right now with having Pakistan become the most strategically important country in the globe and be in the position to solve all their problems (economy, Kashmir, etc.) They can probably deliver VICTORY to Georgie (maybe right before an election to help his poll numbers skyrocket) and, I hope, Georgie can meet their price ( I don't want US service men bodybags coming back from that graveyard). What is victory? If you think terrorism can be stopped we are all in lalaland. Victory here means Osama and 3,4,5 other guys in shackles on the front page of the New York Times with Bush photo next and the title "I promised to the American people that I will bring them to justice, I keep my promises (unlike my daddy;)" The Dems lose the White House and the Senate again! We ll let the Pakistanis do the dirty work for us while we establish some bases near the border there to start closing in on the real prize, the oil and gas fields laying north of the graveyard. Meanwhile, there will be more terrorist attacks, let's get used to it and let's hope our intelligence guys can catch at least some of them. And life goes on, time for dinner<g>
