<< "Treat us like Americans," said the Japanese-American Citizens League. "Give us a chance to prove our loyalty." >>

You have to look back at the circumstances. The world was at war. The US suffered a massive loss at Pearl Harbor. The very question of the survival of America was at stake. We couldn't allow spys or domestic sabotage. We didn't have an Internet back then, or cell phones. Thus we didn't have the great communication, that we have today.

Just how loyal were the Japanese Americans? Who knew? Who could tell who was loyal to the US and who was loyal to Japan. Was it 1 out of 100, that was still fiercely and religiously loyal to the Emperor of Japan? Remember, back then, and even now, the Japanese treat the emperor as a god.

If we had not interred the Japanese Americans, could it have cost us the war?

Now...... how do we find the many Arab Americans who a fiercely loyal to the terrorists?
