It's encouraging to hear Pakistan and Iran willing to co-operate.

Pakistan didn't have much of choice. A wonderful case of Choose your Enemy.

However, when they say they've closed the borders I tend to raise an eyebrow, though. Experience tells us that it's nearly impossible to watch OUR border with Mexico.

The seizing of their assets will hurt these people very much. And the paper trail shall be easy to follow.

When we get focused on the task at hand, these PoS will be looking over their shoulder.

I think that some variation of Maslow's Hierarchy of needs is in play right now.

Sure we have the physiological needs, but we need safety before we can move to the next motivator, which is "love".

We need to do what is necessary to feel safe again. A strategy that creates an environment that nurtures terrorists won't get us there and neither will a strategy that is passive and shows that there are no repercussions.
