In the event of a more severe attack on NYC, I dont think you would find any Norman Rockwell scenes to paint. It wont be the American's evacuating the NYC metro area that will have me worried. There are several hundred thousand illegal aliens in the area who will have nothing to loose in the event of chaos. That combined with the news release indicating the terrorists were residing close to my home, I decided it may be better to be safe than sorry. Ray it seems your travels have never put you face to face with someone with nothing to loose. Perhaps you should take Razor's offer of a field trip to expand your horizons past the printed word. Perhaps Bogota, Colombia or Mexico City, shit even the South Bronx after dusk. One always hopes for the best but one should be prepared for something less.
