They just struck at the heart of our business center, indeed of the non-Islamic world. Funny (not) they still do a lot of business there. Total war. Us against them, for keeps, no bargaining, no negotiation for co-existence. What am I missing here? Targets? Can we agree on Iran, Iraq, Lybia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Syria,...what are we waiting for? Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Jordan would be a relatively easy sweep up with the co-operation of their governements? Or with coercion. Any conclusions?...Anybody? Tom Slatery allegedly just reported bin-Laden buying enriched uranium. Can anybody say the words besides me. I am not just pissed off. I am frightened for the future of the Western World, enough so to kill anybody who speaks like a terrorist. Sorry to be blunt/candid/frank/rude...but I think the country, the world, is in very big trouble. Nobody argues that an F15 would have been justified in shooting down any of the planes en route were it in time. Does anybody argue, really, that the whole world would have been better off without ALL of Germany in 1940? How is this different, except bin-Laden is making his intentions, indeed the intentions of all of radical Islam, known to the world. With our culture, our civil liberties, our population, along with UK, Russia, China, mainland Europe, India...all places not visibly eager to jump on the koran express...all in peril of destruction, who can argue for anything but first, complete strike? Messy...yeah...but what is the alternative. I just don't get it. I wish Barry Goldwater were alive, well, and running things. Yeah, I worked for him way back then. Like was said back then...if you vote for Barry Goldwater we will have disaster in Viet Nam...I did...We did. Jim Black
