My thread is a place for friends. It's not a boxing ring for different opinions. It is my living room, my kitchen table, my library- try to think of it that way. I talk to a lot of people in the world- most of them I don't invite to my home. When you come to my home if you act in certain ways you won't be invited back. I think that's a normal way to live. If you invite everyone home, I respect that. It isn't the way I live. If it gets too ugly here I will go back to my library- I am glad to know it is there, a place of comfort and safety. But most people here have been wonderful lately- rising above personal attacks, showing a very admirable side to their characters (imo), and even in disagreement showing respect. Not everyone can do that, of course, but for the most part this thread has been magnificent. I applaud that. And I respect your opinions. I just might not want them in my home. But not wanting you in my home does not mean I want to muzzle you. (imo)
