As for it being OK to make a man look stupid in a movie ... it's also OK to make a woman look stupid in a movie ... that's what happens in a free society ... where the hell have you been living? Movies are meant for 1 thing - to make money. They do not portray anything realistically. Mothers do tend to get custody, but not always are they successful, and not that many fathers seem to press for such. I hope that is changing. Men also make more money that women. In every case but one that I know of, the women got custody (fathers did not ask for it) and were much worse off financially afterwards than their former husbands. The one differing case was because the husband was incredibly stupid, had a poor lawyer, kidnapped his children before any of this happened, and the wife eventually married a kind and successful man. But this has nothing at all to do with terrorism.
