As Faisal Husseini said, "our goal is Palestine from the river to the sea".<< is this not obvious? the control of the land was forcefully taken from the people! you would want the same thing in their shoes! especially if you had relatives killed and displaced in the process. >>Jews have been in this situation in many times and places, and they have reacted very differently<< they are in it NOW. what are they doing? killing to defend the land they forcefully took. how is that different than killing to get theland back - other than details? in fact, israel kills 500% more palestinians than visa versa and 1900% more children. wrt to christianity, let's not rewrite history. we have the crusades (were millions slaughtered?). we have american slavery. we have american committing genocide on native americans. we have irish christian terrorists. it is easy for americans to sit at starbucks, sip lattes and say "why can't we all just get along - who cares if your land was forcefully taken and relatives were killed?" americans nearly exterminated a race of people (of course, they were dehumanized like some try and dehumanize arabs) to further our self interests, amercians enslaved and murdered countless tens of thousands of people to further our own self interest. now we have the land we stole and we have the fruits of slave labor we stole and NOW EVERYONE ELSE should be peaceful b/c we are a "peaceful" people. UNBELIEVABLE! i more fully understand the distate many feel for american arrogance.
