Softie, I think the first few days will be volatile, but over the next several weeks, most stocks will continue down. I hope we don't break 1240 on the NAZ. If so, we will test 1060. For the Dow I easily see 8200. I don't think we'll break 7500, but these are trying times. I don't exclude anything any more. I've looked at the charts on several different time scales and it looked like we would try these levels before the latest tragedy, but there are many new factors. I am hoping that the companies themselves and the investment banks hold things up best they can and that the fed makes it easier for them by dropping rates 50 b.p. I don't however expect that. I think they'd do that Wednesday at the earliest... they will probably want to see what the markets have in store first.
