I didn't think CR expected them to turn him over.

I think all he was saying was that if they really wanted to prove good faith (in answer to my question) they could provide information, but in doing that they could very well be destroyed from within. (i hope I got that right, CR)

I doubt they know where everything is, but I have no doubt they know where many things are, where many people are, and a host of other useful information.

So, what is your suggestion? Occupy the place? The Soviet Union tried to support a friendly government. Hundreds of thousands of troops involved. Tens of thousands of casualties. No thanks.
