Given the economic conditions, I tend to doubt that any patriotic rally will be sustained for any great length of time (although I would love it if I was wrong). The normal dynamics of the market will eventually govern. As I do not need to trade for a living, I have the luxury of participating or not and choosing how I participate. I do have some cash that I was planning to invest last week and have not yet decided what I will buy. At this time, my conscience dictates that I not sell anything. So, it is either buy or stay out for me.
