"why not take it up on "your" thread? " Because unlike other people, I think it is rude to talk about people, or their comments, in a forum where they cannot respond. I would not talk about you or your comments there, nor would I encourage other people to do so. That is just my conception of what is polite. Conceptions of this will differ. The RWET thread folk could indeed be sycophants- they would just not be your sycophants. I am surprised you would not see this. You can call the people on my thread sycophants, yet they are not your sycophants, I don't see how that could stop you from analyzing the RWET then. Do you? Logically if you can assess the sycophant level of one thread which is not "yours" you could assess the sycophant level of another thread that is not "yours". Surely this is logical. I understand why you would like to try to get out of answering the question. I don't think I'm confusing amusement with annoyance. But that is my opinion. And I'm sticking with it until I see some evidence that it is incorrect.

Let's not explore X's motives for being here too deeply. She had sworn not that long ago that she would never come back to BR. But she has recently realized that that was no longer a necessary restriction, and kept her from some exchanges with people she couldn't have on her own thread. Such as me. For myself, I'm glad she's ventured back into this arena. It makes it a more interesting place to be, and improves the quality of the discussion by broadening the range of views available. The more here, the merrier.
