I consider myself to be fairly well informed, and I think that your fanciful statement is far-fetched and unsupportable: but there is a deeply held belief in the US of a mystical duty to hold the line against the nations of Islam Never heard of such a thing, no one ever showed me the secret mystical handshake, have never had a stranger whisper in my ear that we need to hold the line against Islam. Have not heard it in public or private discussions. You are the only person I've seen articulate this mystical statement. Disagreement does not mean attack.
