War is politics and politics is war. And, a weapon of both is the spoken and written word. In both, the spoken and written words are carefully scripted.

Words will be and have been, throughout history, chosen to have an effect----to intimidate, to make things seem other than they are, to demoralize the enemy, to rally warriors, to spread fear amongst populations---thereby immobilizing them, to incite large numbers of people to action, to use words to delay action to allow time for implementation of plans, to create a smoke screen, to spread doubt amongst people, to divide, to make the perpertrators appear to be the ones in the right, and ultimately to conquer.

My point here is that statements will be made by the leaders of terroists groups as a part of that political war of words with the ultimate goal of deflecting and conquering.

A very common ploy is to call your opponent "unfair" putting your opponent on the offensive because the opponent must respond to such charge(or if they are wise not waste time responding) while you implement your political campaign or war. This is a very common ploy between political parties----and is sometimes effective in preventing the election of candidates and/or parties.

And, then to further divert from the task at hand-----the one having levied the charge can call for a committee--- a worldwide group to study the "unfairness" or as in one statement on this board-------study "terrorism".

Americans are intelligent and understand that words will be thrown like the planes that plowed into the World Trade Center and Pentagon that words are weapons of war.

America "unfair"----that is as a friend of mine would say---utter b.s. Blaming America for the tragic destruction of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and the plane which went down in Pennsylvania headed for perhaps Washington or Camp David is preposterous. Our American officials do not need to defend America on such a charge.

It's a good ploy but it won't work.

I think that you should buy yourself a one way ticket to Iraq.
