Maybe he is thinking fundamentally. Maybe, he sees that enterprises and the government will see their weaknesses and understand that they will be spending money to build redundancy and security in their systems and that consumers will be spending so that they have backup supplies.

Still, it seems like any fundamental strength in the economy would be short lived until the future is a little clearer.

Q3 is going to be tough for a lot of businesses. There are only 2 weeks left in the quarter and there is almost a week's worth of airfreight backed up on the docks. Freight won't be going on passenger flights, so that will decrease our ability to export in a timely fashion as well.

I am just rambling here with random thoughts....I have no idea what is going to happen, but I am surprised that Buffet finds this to be a good time to be buying...Maybe that is *why* he considers it a good time to buy....nobody else does. (ceptin a few nutballs here on SI:-))
