Dear lbs 1989, Thank you for your reply. It certainly makes a lot of sense. I am not an anthropologist either. But I have Hungarian and Finnish friends who told me about their ancestors' migrations. I have heard that where now stands the Gobi Desert, there was a fluorishing civilization. Artifacts of human habitation have been found there and also fairly strong radioactivity. It would appear that whatever civilization that had existed there disappeared into oblivion in a nuclear blast! Ditto for a couple of places in Northern India. I know you are not an anthropologist, but do you have any ideas/information regarding the Gobi Desert as it was in very ancient times? And also Northern India?
