Good post Bill.

Here is an article I read. I couldn't have summed it up any better, IMHO. Message 16360185

Bill, I agree with you about making business decisions based on reality, not patriotism.

But, why are you bringing in REFR? I did not suggest anyone should do anything because of the terrorist attack. Some others did imply this was a time investors should not short the market, not just REFR.

As it happens, I really do not care and I bought below 14 and may buy more. People take chances and push a stock too low only to see it bounce back. None of this will stop what happens to REFR licensees who are far along the way to making money. So, you place your bet and I place mine. I am not worried because I did deep research, unlike the shallow crap coming from people like Asensio who could short many other things for bigger profit but are stubborn and stuck with a large position they can not cover easily without taking losses.

The market does not look that treacherous today. I see serious signs some shorts are ready to cover and we bounce back.

Bill,

I agree that it is very risky to buy now, as I have said. However, once the markets stabilize I can already see some great buys forming. GE, AMR (trading well below book), GCOR are the most interesting to me right now. If you really wanted to be daring you can watch VII. The last time it popped big was when there was an airport incident that prompted a run on security stocks that pushed it to $13. Today it was up much as 200% at one point. Could go over $10 again but you need to get out at the right time since it is normally a very thinly traded stock.

Just my notes for the day.

Hank

I still see no reason to cover the IDX stock fraud. I also believe the stock will eventually trade below 1.
