We aren't dealing with some dispossessed camel jockeys, but with a cross section of Islamic society. I'm quite curious as to how the Iranian-Afghani contretemps may get worked out in this episode. As Afghani military forces mass at the Pakistani border, they're likely to leave the back door open. I think the Taliban is doomed, one way or another. At least I hope so. -R.
