Earthquakes, one of my favorite paths of exploration. I was there for Loma Prieta. I was there for the Oakland-Berkeley firestorm. Many parallels, but not of the same magnitude and most definitely not of the same or even similar catalyst. Nevertheless, my thought processes are returning to memories of those events. I was there for the Gulf War. That said, I think (sense?) that our leaders are up to what we must do, and I am grateful for that. In the end, this is way different . . .
