as long as you are fdic insured, it doesn't matter but some banks may indeed go away. the government can't save EVERY industry. they're already on the hook for the airlines because those bozos didn't have enough cash to handle a coupel day shutdown and a recession.... oen of many wrong signals the government is sending... don't worry about the future, lever up.. cuase if things go bad, the US tax payer wil bail you out
