Actually, I looked it up on Edgar.

It looks like as of end Q2, Intel had about 6.725 billion shares outstanding. 300M shares would be almost 4.5% of that. Assuming it's gone down since Q2, it can almost be 5%. Companies don't get a chance every day to buy back 5% of their outstanding shares, especially companies the size of Intel. It's a bold move. Go, Intel!
