<<laying off people>>

<<cutting routes>>

<<war>>

All factored in the stock price. The first 2 are actually positives which will help shore up profitability.

I know I sound cold-hearted, but the things you mention are dreams for investors - you buy when things are bleakest and everybody is negative.

Just like I would never buy CSCO until this board becomes negative and starts spewing out how bad CSCO is, I use the same methodology for the airline stocks.

Nobody wants airline stocks, therefore the invetment is attractive for me because the collective majority is NEVER right in the stock market.

Mindmeld, while my individual stock call wasn't correct, my philosophy on airline sector was. I remember you told me that your sister works for AMR. Check out AMR stock - it's up STRONG today and it even seems to be breaking out to fill the gap. The bottom was made on the Monday after the attacks and confirmed several days after. IMHO.
