Thanks Mindmeld. Look, I have seen this over and over again. The last time being with the California energy companies, I mean how much worse could it get...stocks at 20 year lows!?!...once or twice a year there are these amazing opportunities that one has to take advantage of because a majority of ones gains come during these periods - for the airline stocks, any long-term investor would be absolutely f'ing stupid to not get in.

MM

This may be a trading opportunity in the airlines but as a pilot and one who knows a number of senior airline pilots things on the security front have not changed at all!

The terrorists got into the cockpit with sheer physical strength.

They used no weapons to take over the aircraft.

Until we do what El Al did with their cockpit doors I for one will not fly on a commercial airliner.

Period!

Eric

On another note I'm heartened to see the market down only 500 Pts. That plus the 1/2 pt cut sure sets the stage for the next bull run.

Should be an interesting close today.

Back to the April lows. It'll be interesting to see if we set a new closing low. CSCO, like all the techs, seems to be making a incremental decline, but no fear, no gap-down, no panic selling. I bought some more TXN today. 14 was the next buy-point for me for CSCO, but I held off. I want to just buy a little bit every day, I think we are in for a lot of volatility, if I don't catch this low, wait a while, there will be other opportunities.

<<any long-term investor would be absolutely f'ing stupid to not get in a basket of airline stocks.>>

Excluding my sh!tty fill on MESA, which has promptly come back, I think the call stands as a good one so far.
