As a German-American, I'm embarrassed and disappointed at Germany's unwillingness to fulfill (their part of the bargain of) the NATO agreement from which they have so benefitted for many years... Not that their troops are really needed, but politically, it would make a helluva a better statement to moderate Middle Eastern states.. Who would have thought it: Iran and Russia being a better "allies" than Germany and France. ??
