The need for additional 'disaster recovery' depth in the IT and communications infrastructure is plain in the wake of last week's atrocities. You can be sure that every CEO is asking questions of their CIO about their exposures in this area and will be working to fill in gaps that are identified. My feeling is that this more than anything else will help spur business IT spending starting immediately. I agree that EMC will be one of the prime beneficiaries of this new cycle.

This is getting a bit of a joke. A stock that was 104 going to 12.5 +/- Kinda shows how Wall St. operates.
It don't take brains, just a study of human psychology. Kinda like a dollar going from 100 cents to 12 cents in 9 months. Bankers would just love that. Well, you play the ponies, and some of them don't do so well. I guess Wrigley chewing gum stock is doing just fine.
