My investment club has looked closely at Bombardier. One of the members grew up in the airline industry--his family runs an air transport company in the north (northern Alberta, Youkon etc.; bush planes, some sched. routes, etc.). He points out the airline industry is in a radical change to very large and small planes. The medium size jets are on the outs. You get your best cost-per-passinger-mile at the two ends of the size spectrum.
