Obviously this is not a fair market, and it won't be even close to one until next week. And we are also crashing, in case it has escaped anyone's notice: we have an oversold market that has continued to fall through support.

If any bounce is the slightest bit ugly, I am out again, believe me, and I bought very little today.

Unfortunately, this was one of them:

12:36 ET United Tech (UTX) 55.81 -10.39 (halted): Company announces that it remains on track with analysts' consensus for Q3. However, cautions that Q4 earnings will be under pressure because of disruptions in the commercial airline industry globally; sees qtr impacted by up to $0.30 a share.
