We have to do whatever it takes. Not too long ago Israel was planning to strike Pakistan's nuclear installations, and we talked them out of it. Wouldn't it have been different today if we had one less threat? We also know that China has played a major role in supplying components to all three, and yet we let them join the WTO because we say we need to keep them engaged. It seems we have been looking the other way and rewarding them instead.

so we agree at least on the goal... I hope we are good at achieving it, too, and I believe there is a lot possible with the "disinfection" method, too, if we can unite the reasonable people all over the world on our sides. The example of the Pakistani government is a good beginning. We have to keep in mind that we must also stabilize these forces so that they are seen as the ones to be supported by their own people, too. Then, also _there_ will be enough legitimation for the state to give the terrorist the deadly strike... btw I am absolutly aware that also the Pakistani government has probably seen immense pressure to collaborate, and this is why we of course have to make sure that the Nato should appear as a functioning alliance.
