I think President Bush, like Presidents before him, is quickly "growing" into the job.

We'll see, after he actually does something. I have to say that "punishing the evil-doers" sounds like something out of grade school, though.

Why do you say we're well prepared for it?

we do have some folks who know that terrain quite well. we can conduct ops there...but frankly i do not see us slugging it out cave to cave...other techniques are available.

i find today's chatter kind of peculiar but funny...i wonder what yardstick is being used by some to measure W?

the man has succeeded in motivating our military to train hard and developed in them a resolve and willingness to fight that we have not seen in many years. that reprresents the highest level of excellence for any military commander.

he has also developed a cohesive and unified front amoung and between the executive branch, the senate and congress. we have not seen the likes of this in many many years. this represents the highest level of team building and executive leadership.

calling W's current success situational is absurd...we have had regular and continuous terrorist attacks on our armed forces and our civilians for the past 8 years and never saw anything even close to this level of successful leadership and command presence.

knocking W's choice of words really makes me laugh...especially when it is done on this thread. i think it is nothing more than geographical prejudice.

men are judged on results...how ever W is getting the job done, whatever words he is using to motivate...he is damn sure getting it done a helluva lot better than anyone else in his position has for the past 8 years.

there is no current yardstick to measure his success by...it has been too many years since anyone in washington inspired our soldiers and too many years since any president has unified and gained the support of our entire congress.

don't be put off by a disgruntled, ill-informed and whining few...hell somebody had to vote for congresswomen lee.

we have a man who has stepped to the plate and taken charge...the armed forces and the rest of our leaders are solidly behind him. this is no time for arm chair quarterbacking...this is a time for action.

we are all either part of the solution or part of the problem. it is time to lead, follow or get the hell out of the way.

Apollo,

Now that your one stock has gone up, I recommend that you sell it. Having learned that Id owns it, you have obviously made a serious mistake in judgement.
