OT Hi Larry, as a Christian then you should read this article: iranian.com. It states what is really going on in Afghanistan. At first, I was a war hawk like no other. But the more I educate myself as to what I think is really going on, the more I get worried that yet again, the little guy is the one who will suffer most. I don't know what the solution is, but I am more convinced than ever that Osama and the Taliban need to be eliminated after reading some other article, which I haven't posted here because I couldn't find it again, on how women are basically chattle in Afghanistan. This is a bad global dilemna and I don't believe Hollywood Americans have the stomach for the long fight that we have to pursue. At the end of the day, I think that Americans want a CNN war, not the long battle against the cancer that now has spread to every corner of the globe. I mean if we were to do exactly what Bush wants, we'd have to eliminate Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Saudi Arabia, and a host of other countries that harbor our definition of terrorist. Each of those countries I just listed have given aid to anti-Zionist armed guerillas, which we'd call terrorists, but that they don't. How do we reconcile that problem? Most Arabs view Israel as a squatter on their land. Who's right? I don't know, but I know Israel is a great ally of ours, but none of it is as simple as Bush or the media makes it out to be. Osama is as guilty as our mafia mob bosses are, but the work doesn't end there.
