Probably, IMO, would be like an explosion on a tarmac, as the barriers are designed to prevent aircraft penetration.

14:58 ET Market Volatility : The Market Volatility Index spiked twelve points this morning to 47.70. Currently reading 46.00, this represents its highest level in nearly three years -- since October of 1998. The VIX is viewed as a contra-indicator, and as a general rule, levels above 35.00 are considered a bullish indicator. Yet additional new highs on the VIX are clearly a possibility as well.

MM, the burning jet fuel wouldn't touch the reactor shell. Neither would the impact from a light aircraft.

It would be:

Splat

Burn

Wipe the mess off the surface.
