I have to say that "punishing the evil-doers" sounds like something out of grade school, though.

That phrase has been driving me nuts as well....somebody has to give him some synonyms for terrorists.

It's an improvement over his lip-quivering comments on Tuesdays referring to the terrorists as "those folks".

Since I earlier critisized the President's use of the term "evil-doers", I thought it only fair to give him kudos on a great speech tonight. He is never going to be Reagan or Clinton in terms of delivery but I thought that the tone and content of the speech were well done. IMO....the best speech of his career.

Unfortunately, that doesnt change the fact that we are going to have tough road ahead of us. However, it is reassuring to see the President rising to the occasion.
