When Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson blame the WTC disaster on the "abortionists, feminists, gays and lesbians, and the ACLU" do you also extrapolate those remarks to represent all citizens of the USA?

Yes. Every kid has an adult parent or other guardian.
Even in camps or schools. Therefore the fact of public
victorious manifestations gives me the right to conclude
that their whole society is seriously sick, and has
to be contained or cured by all available means.

Prejudice and bigotry have no place on this board or in this country... period! One would have thought Americans would have learned that by now. Every society has its fanatics... those who place the value of their agenda above human life. American history is littered with examples of these types of individuals, the modern KKK, Arian Nation, and Skinheads are only an extension of the sad "tradition." I pray we don't degenerate to that level as a nation... as such ill-spoken words as those above would then boomerang on America...

You can draw any conclusion you wish. But who are you to decide that they must be 'contained'??

They are not the ones who have harmed you in any way. their daily life is miserable, unsafe and with no hope of future improvements. they see america as the supporter of israel so any harm to israel or america is a cause of rejoice for SOME OF them.

Dont think that I support them or muslims for that matter. My whole family, aunts, uncles, friends were displaced from my homeland by the muslims with only the shirt on my back and lucky to be alive. I hated them for many decades. Now the very people that rejoiced at our leaving are suffering at the hands of other muslims. They are now calling on us to help them since we are all brothers from the same region (not religion). And inspite of what they did to us, i feel sorry for misery that they are going thru now. they are basically living in the stone ages while we moved on and prospered.

Your views are truly alarming. Even more alarming perhaps is that many in this world share your reasoning. Let me see if I can clear things up for you just a bit

The fabric of civilization is very thin. Cosmically speaking, we are just emerging from primordial slime. But, what I really want to do is give you another perspective on life.

Take Germany for example. There for example, we have a population of 100 million beautiful and wonderful people (for the most part). They are highly educated and very industrious. But, just 60 to 70 years ago, their ancestors engaged in activities even more horrific than what happened at the WTC. Their whole society was complicit.

In my opinion, however, this could have happened in any society. In my opinion, this could happen again and it could happen anywhere - where in Germany only a few people - no more than a few dozen people - who were the architects and the promoters of the holocaust.

All the other guilty parties in Germany were ordinary people, perhaps not too different from the likes of you and some of the others on this thread. I just don't like to think how I, personally, could have also been pressured to go along with the crowd.

I apologise to all those who know far more about this subject for trivialising this part of history. I am only trying to use this illustration (that I admit I don't know that much about) to prove the point that the vast majority of the human population is not evil.

I hope I made some points.

Mary
